Our client is looking for a passionate, hands-on HR Advisor to join their team.

The client's diverse portfolio spans property development and hospitality. Dedicated to creating lasting memories and meaningful connections for their guests.

This HR Advisor role provides timely and professional HR support to managers and employees. You will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are consistently applied, in full compliance with Australian workplace laws and best-practice principles. While the position is based in the Melbourne Head Office, regular travel to regional business units is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Employee Relations & Support: Advising on HR matters, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job ads to facilitating new hire orientation.
  • HR Administration: Maintaining accurate employee records, preparing HR reports, and assisting with audits and compliance checks.
  • Training & Development: Supporting performance reviews, identifying training opportunities, and coordinating training programs.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to HR policies and employment legislation, and assisting with policy development.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You will be the primary point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are key to success in this role.
  • Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: The role requires you to support managers in resolving workplace issues and conducting investigations.
  • Organisational Skills: With responsibilities spanning recruitment, training coordination, and administrative tasks, you must be highly organised to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Confidentiality and Professionalism: You will be handling sensitive employee information and confidential matters. Maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism is non-negotiable.
  • A valid driver's license and have own car for travel.
