Working across our switchboard, concierge and reception operations, you'll benefit from the variety our hospital offers every day. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a healthcare leader and a highly experienced team, all within a secure and supportive organisation. Casual shifts are available from Mon-Sun 6AM-11PM throughout the week. What You'll Be Doing Providing exceptional customer service to staff, patients, visitors which may include: - Answering and redirecting incoming calls through our switchboard system- Concierge duties - greeting patients and visitors at the main hospital entrance and assisting them as required- Responding to emergency calls in a timely manner and accurately transmitting messages via the relevant system- Giving directions in accordance with our way-finding procedure- Booking of taxis and couriers as requested- Assisting with general enquiries- Clerical and administration assistance including data entry, filing, sorting What We're Looking For- Experience in a similar role delivering a high level of customer service- Experience operating directory software including messages, Durapage paging system, call centre software, TTY telephone and public address systems (desirable)- Professional demeanour and phone manner- Sound technology skills (MS Office and ability to learn new software with ease)- Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters- Great attention to detail and strong time management abilities- A team player who embraces new challenges with a positive outlook Please also include a cover letter which addresses the following question: "What do you think good customer service looks like?"
