**Job Description**:
We're on the lookout for a Marketing Officer with an events management focus to come and join the NextGen team. As the industry leader in our domain, support and giving back to the fintech and mortgage lending communities is pivotal to us. One of the key ways we do this is via our own events and how we showcase what we do at various industry events. Come and be a key part in taking our event presence to the next level.

**What will a day in the life look like?**
- Management of the customer, industry and employee events calendar (including including brand placement, presentations, venue hire);
- Identify the objectives of the event and determine the requirements that must be met to accomplish those objectives;
- Work closely with marketing leadership to promote events via proprietary channels;;
- Co-ordinate and be the key point of contact for all events services, for example, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, printing, security;
- Development, production and delivery of events from proposal to execution;
- Delivering events on time, within budget, that not only meet, but exceeds expectations;
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
- Communicating, maintaining and developing supplier relationships;
- Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently;
- Travelling to on site inspections and project managing events;
- Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish;
- Recommending promotional items to support brand/campaign and event messaging;
- Manage movement logistics of items to support each event;
- Own participant briefings regarding event requirements.

**Qualifications**:
**We believe the right profile for us might look something like this**:

- At least 12 months experience in a similar events focussed marketing role;
- Experience managing organisational social identity and consistency of tone of voice;
- Expert level eye for detail in written content;
- Ideally some previous B2B marketing experience;
- Mortgage or banking industry experience will be an advantage;
- Image creation/manipulations skills, e.g. Photoshop.
