King’s Own Institute (KOI) is a leading independent institute of higher education located in central Sydney and Newcastle, Australia. KOI offers high quality accredited diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Accounting, Business, Management, IT and TESOL.

**The role**:
We are seeking a marketing officer to join our marketing department. The position will report to the marketing director and assistant marketing manager.

Essential for this position is a "can-do" attitude, and a willingness and ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team, particularly during peak periods.

**The main responsibilities will include**:

- Assist with the developing and implementing of KOI marketing plans
- Support the Marketing Director and Assistant Marketing Manager in planning, researching and coordinating the KOI domestic and overseas recruitment
- Identify market trends, market demand, and areas for improvement to inform data-driven marketing strategies and decision-making
- Compile information on KOI market feedback regarding its courses for use in rankings and other forms of market analysis.
- Provide senior management with ongoing data and statistical information on student recruitment
- Manage KOI agent network
- Coordinate the creation a variety of marketing materials
- Coordinate with IT department to maintain and optimize website content with a strong focus on SEO
- Tertiary qualification in Business
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role/position
- Business development exposure of off shore student markets preferably Asia, South Asia, South America and Europe.
- Able to work within a team environment and autonomously without supervision as required.
- Demonstrated ability for effective decision making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills; speaks clearly, professionally, and sensitively when interacting with stakeholders.
- Positive attitude, friendly and approachable.
- Good organisational and administration skills.
