**Working at Brite**

**Position Summary**
The Pak Team Leader in conjunction with other Pak Team Leaders has responsibility for the management of the day-to-day production needs and demonstrated leadership in the achievement of production goals.
In particular, the Pak Team Leader:
- Lead a production work team.
- Ensures production goals are met and to the required standard of quality. Delivered in Full and On-time.
- Maintains a safety and health working environment.
- Supports all team members to achieve their individual and team production goals.
- Contribute to maintaining quality accreditation.
Role responsibilities encompass tasks within the following key areas:
- Production.
- Assembly of customer orders.
- Vocational support for people with disabilities.
- Individual support for supported team members with higher support needs.

**Production tasks**
Achievement of production goals at the required level of quality
- Plan jobs as per Pak Production Schedule and JWOs, seeking further information from Production Coordinator if clarification is needed.
- Input daily data into Daily Production Schedule.
- Set up production line in the most efficient and productive manner with the resources available.
- Use initiative and ingenuity to improve productivity and best practice to ensure that all jobs are delivered in full and on time (DIFOT) and to budget.
- Ensure all components are available on factory floor prior to commencing a job.
- Actively seek out and advise the Pak Operations Manager of any issues which may result in lost productivity, non-chargeable downtime or negatively impact on achieving tasks jobs and budget.
- Advise Pak Operations Manager immediately of any issues arising that may result in the business not meeting the customers’ specifications.
- Day to day relationship management at all levels with commercial clients, funding bodies and/or community stakeholders as required.
- Provide Production Coordinator with recommendations in identifying eliminating works order over runs.
- Ensure that all personnel strictly adhere to OH&S legislation, company policies and procedures
- Fortnightly team meetings with supported team members.
Supervision a team of supported team members
- Provide team members with necessary supervision to enable them to achieve their production goals.
- Assist team members to understand all steps prior to commencing a job.
- Assist team members with the steps involved in each job allocated to them.
- Ensures work team provides work that meets quality standards.
- Provides encouragement and guidance to work team.
- Delivers on the job training and support to the work team.
- Maintains the attendance role.
- Organises and completes team member timesheets.
Contributing to quality processes
- To work within Brite Services Quality Assurance system, contractual arrangements, and legal requirements.
- To be fully aware of and comply with current responsibilities and requirements of the quality system, regulations and organisational policies, quality procedures and working instructions applicable to their activities.
- To contribute to continuous improvement through completion of Continuous Improvement Reports.
Contributing to Occupational Health and Safety processes
- To be fully aware of and comply with current responsibilities and requirements of the OHS Act 2004, regulations and organisational policies, quality procedures and working instructions applicable to their activities.
- To report all hazards, incidents, and injuries in accordance with legislation, and Brite reporting procedures.
- Ensure liaison with employee health and safety representatives and supervisors and staff in regard to OHS issues.
- Wear and use protective safety equipment when identified as appropriate.
- Participate in programs and assessments to improve health and safety in the workplace.
