Production Planner

**The Opportunity**:
CSL Behring is recruiting for a Production Planner to join our dynamic team in our Supply Chain function at our Broadmeadows site. Reporting to the Master Production Planner, this full-time permanent opportunity will focus on planning of production activities.

You will develop and maintain a production plan that meets local and global demands within constraints of the site, work with global and local stakeholders, balance and prioritise multiple tasks and respond quickly to changes. You will engage with different areas of the business, and work in a role where no day is the same

You will have a passion for working within and enhancing systems as we continue to improve and automate our advanced planning processes. To be successful you will need to be agile in your thinking, a dynamic approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous improvement.

**The Role**:

- Develop and maintain an organised achievable production plan that meets short terms and long-term demand taking into account capacity and raw material availability.
- Consult with site stakeholders from production, QA, Regulatory Affairs, logistics and engineering to ensure alignment and delivery of the production plan
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders for forecasting purposes and to link in supply chain of the product and its intermediates
- Work within our SAP and Rapid Response to ensure the system reflects the production schedules and inventory
- Responsibility for maintaining the planning-relevant master data in SAP and Rapid Response
- Support the Sales and Operations Planning cycle with supply planning information to ensure customer requirements are met and inventory targets maintained

**Your skills and experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related area is desirable
- 1+ years of experience working on SAP or equivalent ERP system
- An awareness and understanding of the production planning process and materials requirement planning, specific experience within this area would be regarded
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment is ideal, as is an understanding of the requirements of the code of Good Manufacturing Practice
- Willingness to learn and develop systems using advanced planning tools
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to manage competing projects
