Our state government client based in Perth’s south is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer.

**Your new company**

Our state government client based in Perth’s south is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer to fill their temporary vacancy. This is a 6-month temporary contract with the opportunity to extend.

**Your new role**

Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and responding to a range of HR matters via the HR inbox- Onboarding new starters and ensuring relevant paperwork is completed correctly- Being a point of contact between the organisation and contractor agencies- Maintaining staff contracts- Liaising with central HR

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:
- Previous HR officer/ administrator experience- Effective communication skills- Recruitment and onboarding experience- State government HR experience- Ability to maintain data accurately in HR databases

**What you'll get in return**

In return for your positive contributions to this organisation, you’ll be offered:
- Up to 40 hours per week- Monday to Friday hours- Ability to work in a supportive team environment- Competitive hourly rate
