Our client is a top tier miner with significant assets in Australia that include mine and port facilities. Operating in some of Australia’s highest value environmental regions, it invests considerable resources into ensuring responsible mining practices, makes extensive investment in rehabilitation and has a strong commitment to net zero emissions target.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for 800 employees across 2 mines in the South West of WA.

**Main responsibilities of the role**:

- Provide generalist HR support to operations teams across multiple sites.
- Assist in building and implementing strategic HR plans.
- Define and develop industrial relations plans to manage stakeholders, mitigate risk and drive project outcomes and priorities.
- Support line managers in the development and implementation of Employee Relations strategies.
- Consider and advise on HR/ IR changes, trends, threats and opportunities which impact on business outcomes.
- Leads the site wide Human Resources & Learning and Development team.
- Degree in Law, Commerce, Human Resources or similar
- Experience working within the resources sector
- 10+ years in HR
- Knowledge of legislative and economic environment as appropriate to the role.
