Melbourne, Australia Harris Computer Systems Full time

K2 Medical Systems, part of the Harris Maternity family, is looking for a Technical Consultant to help us work with our customer base in Australia & New Zealand. You will proactively work with customers to implement our products using K2MS best practices and provide your expertise through the end-to-end value chain of our products. You will also cultivate relationships with our existing customer base, to ensure our products continue to fulfill all needs of our valued customer base.

Ideally you will be based in Melbourne with the option to work from home a couple of days a week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide a single point of contact for technical discussions with our customers.
- Provide best practices for the solution design of our products.
- Lead the development activities for our products to enable a seamless implementation.
- Work with customers to elicit their technical and business requirements.
- Document customer requirements and produce design artifacts for approval.
- Manage the implementation of customer projects based on defined scopes of work.
- Conduct training sessions with end users and field questions on our products.
- Implement our products and support their release onsite and remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Technology related field (essential).
- Experience in similar technical roles (3+ years preferred).
- Experience using SQL databases preferably within SQL Management Studio (5+ years preferred).
- Experience using XML and.Net programming practices (3+ years preferred).
- Experience using WebServices and Windows Server Operation Systems (2+ years preferred).
- Understanding of software engineering concepts.
- Enterprise technology delivery experience.
- Management skills, Leadership qualities and excellent problem-solving ability.
- Experience in business analysis including translating user needs into functional or technical requirements required.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint required, Visio preferred.
- An understanding of ITIL frameworks and their use within service delivery environments.
- Experience working with software solutions within the healthcare industry.
