Imagine thisan international IT Vendor, servicing a roster of Fortune 500 clients and Government agencies, large, and in charge across the whole of Australia. You’ll be working in the IT Managed Services division, supported by some of the industry’s finest as you take on a series of exciting transformation projects.

**Please note: This is a urgent 3m contract to start December 19th - 60 days.**

The Technical Consultant is responsible for working directly with customers to assess, design and implement optimal technical solutions across the Microsoft Infrastructure platforms stack. A primary responsibility of the role will be to propose and implement technologies and migration strategies that transition enterprise environments into our client’s lines of business. The consultant will utilise their highly developed business acumen to present the business value of their technical recommendations in an ROI based manner.

Continual Service Improvement:

- Recommends procedure changes that result in operational optimisation.
- Shares best practices from other engagements.
- Provides performance-tuning recommendations.
- Create and update process and procedural documentation

Administration:

- Monitors, reviews and manages Dell EMC infrastructure.
- Manages user requests.
- Manages and reviews log files.
- Generates regular operational reports.

Problem Management:

- Isolates and troubleshoots incidents.
- Performs service incident coordination.
- Opens service requests on behalf of the customer.
- Participates in root cause analysis review.

Change Management:

- Performs software/firmware management assistance and collaboration.
- Implements change management requests.
- Manages migration activities (monitor reports)
- Min. 3 Years Consulting Experience
- 5 Years Project Delivery Experience
- 7 Years Technical Operations Experience

**Consulting**:

- Proven track record of consulting delivery (technical business case, detailed architecture design)
- Proven Track record of best practice migration planning and execution
- Demonstrable executive communication skills

**Technical skills required**:

- Previously worked in the Managed Services or IT vendor space
- Deep knowledge of the Cloud and Infrastructure space such as VMware and VxRail
- Deep knowledge of networking and storage solutions
- Deep knowledge of Data Center solutions, including from the Microsoft space.
