About the Role

As a
Technical Consultant
, you'll play a key role in implementing Ultradata products across client environments. From release upgrades and product installations to data conversions and merger projects, you'll be at the forefront of technical delivery. You'll report directly to the Senior Manager – Technical Delivery and work closely with our dynamic Consulting Services team.

What You'll Do

  • Perform all facets of installations, including preparation, deployment of code, application system configuration and execution of installation processes
  • Troubleshoot incidents and provide timely resolutions
  • Configure applications and execute installation processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete administrative tasks
  • Adhere to and contribute to the improvement of all internal procedures and development standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong application troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience in UniVerse/PICK environments (highly desirable)
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Tertiary qualifications or formal training (preferred but not essential).

Some after-hours work required (flexible work arrangements)

  • Understanding UniVerse environments, files, and dictionaries
  • Proficiency in WebDE, Retrieve query language, and Universe Editor
  • Skills in reviewing log files and distributed file systems.
