Senior Technical Consultant (Appian)

Role Overview

The Senior Technical Consultant will lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-level solutions using Appian and related technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and client-facing communication skills to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Design integration frameworks with third-party platforms and systems.
  • Define data models, architectural guidelines, and development standards in line with Appian best practices.
  • Prepare high-level technical specifications and ensure quality through code reviews.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day interactions.
  • Conduct solution demonstrations and manage sprint ceremonies.
  • Plan and manage project releases and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support deployment activities and lead application rollouts.
  • Mentor and guide development teams to achieve technical excellence.
  • Coordinate with on-shore and off-shore teams during development.
  • Oversee infrastructure setup for on-premise implementations.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 4+ years of overall experience in enterprise-level application development.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with object-oriented technologies (J2EE, .NET, etc.) and RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a development team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with global clients.
  • Flexibility to travel when required.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with
    Appian
    BPM platform (Level 2 Credential preferred).
  • Familiarity with network and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Practical understanding of Agile software development practices.
