**Role Highlights**: The successful applicant will be responsible for driving sales and manage relationships with the company's existing customers.
**Role Overview**:
This company has established itself as a leading battery manufacturer in Australia and worldwide. They are looking for an experienced sales managers to continue to expand their revenue in Australia.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for effective entry into the Channel Sales networks
- Responsible for developing new distribution channels and manage the channels for the respective state market
- Pro-actively seek, evaluate, and secure new channels to promote the company products into the market
- Be prepared to travel both within the state and within Australia, including but not limiting to attending product trainings and industry events as required
- Support a partner sales network with trust and integrity and provide product training with cross-support to the channel partners
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines & manage continuous change and its consequences effectively
In order to be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Sales Manager within the standby power sector.
- Have experience in channel partner sales, strategic aligned account management, or business development in battery or related industries
- Strong organisation and negotiation skills
- Driven to achieve results and be customer focused
- Ability to work autonomously
- Must be a self-starters with the initiative to see projects through
