**The Role**
The Logistic Officer is accountable for various activities including the development of regional plans, forecasting of future workload and inventory requirements and repair parts to support the sustainment and acquisition of materiel logistics. The role is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with policy, processes and procedures to support the sustainment of equipment.

The Logistic Officer will manage work with capability managers on the delivery and sustainment of various fleets and platforms and is responsible for managing the development and contribution to strategies, plans and budgets in support of Defence platforms and equipment.
