**The Role**
The Henderson Consolidation Taskforce is seeking a motivated professional to fill the role of APS 6 Project Scheduler. Your role includes:

- Being accountable for the development and maintenance of project planning activities.
- Coordinating project performance and identify the need for change and takes action.
- Developing and implement project briefs and reports using a range of tools and techniques.
- Identifying risks, uncertainties and opportunities during the planning process and develop and implement agreed recommendations that contribute to project outcomes.
- Building and sustaining effective relationships with team members including the provision of coaching and mentoring and actively participate in team and group activities.
- Working collaboratively with all stakeholders, provide constructive feedback and recommend solutions.
- Assessing and evaluating information and processes for compliance with extant legislation, policy, contracts and agreements as applicable and recommend action if required.
- Taking the initiative to prioritise and progress work to meet business objectives.
- Being accountable for continued participation and completion of competencies in line with the Scheduling Career Pathway and ongoing professional development.
- Resolving problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternatives courses of action.

**About our Team**
The Henderson Consolidation Taskforce was established in July 2024. The Taskforce has a mix of seconded ADF officers and fulltime APS employees. The intent will be that the Taskforce will transition into a new Henderson Consolidation Branch, under the Patrol Boats and Specialist Ships Division within Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG). The APS6 Project Scheduler role is one many new APS positions that have been established in support of Henderson Consolidation.
