**The Role**
- Responding to moderately complex operational, procedural, administrative and business support related enquires; and must possess matured customer service skills, excellent communication skills and an approachable demeanor with a positive outlook.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Assisting the Business Manager with simple procurement, payment of invoices, recruitment / reporting and any other administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain professional presentation, interactions and conduct at all times.

This position reports to the APS 5 Security and Facilities Officer.

This position is available as a Temporary Transfer/Higher Duties Allowance (HDA) for a period of 6 months. This vacancy is open to all ongoing Defence and ASA employees.

**About our Team**
The Anzac SPO sits within the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group / Maritime System Division (MSD) / Major Surface Ships (MSS) Branch. The headquarters for the Anzac SPO is located in Henderson WA. The Anzac SPO is primarily a governance, assurance and strategic planning enterprise, which undertakes a governance and assurance role over the variety of outsourced performance, based
commercial contracts. These contracts span engineering, maintenance and logistics operations disciplines. The Anzac SPO Business Manager position sits within the Commercial and Governance team.
- Highly developed written and verbal communications; with the ability to communicate confidently, effectively and in a positive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a cooperative and collaborative team member.
- Ability to maintain professional attitude and composure during all interactions.
- Experience in a Defence Security environment (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience managing administrative and executive support functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, be a motivated self-starter, and have the ability to work independently with limited supervision (at times).
- The ability to prioritise tasking requirements, communicate these priorities with supervisor / management for authorisation, and effectively inform relevant stakeholders of expected outcomes / deliverables.
- Experience with simple procurement and payment of invoices.
