A little bit about the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the procurement team at the City of Boroondara. You will be in a supportive and collaborative environment, where you will have a laugh day to day. Reporting to the Coordinator Strategic Procurement, the role contributes to driving best practice procurement advice and ensures effective procurement processes. It provides quotation, tendering and contract support services to the organisation in relation to goods, services and works. Additionally, the role will be involved in special procurement related projects that promotes best practice, policy improvements and training of staff across the organisation.
The Procurement Business partner drives a culture of service excellence, encouraging new and different approaches and solutions that deliver benefits beyond client and stakeholder expectations.
A little bit about you
You have demonstrated knowledge of procurement and purchasing practices and procedures in a local or state government context. Along with this is demonstrated experience providing authoritative procurement guidance and support on tender and quote processes for a wide range of goods and services. You bring experience in supporting tender processes and contract documents including specifications, conditions of contract and conditions of tendering.
