We are looking for an experienced, values based and impactful leader to join our high performing People Culture and Development team to drive strategic and operational outcomes that support our culture, workforce and enhance service delivery to our community.

About the role
**As Lead - Business Partnering, you will**:
Lead and coach a high-performing team of HR Business Partners
Provide expert HR and industrial relations advice to executive, senior leaders and employees
Drive strategic people initiatives and continuous organisational improvement
Partner with leaders to embed best-practice workforce planning, talent management, and change management
Represent Council in industrial matters, including Fair Work Commission proceedings
Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and employee engagement
What you’ll bring
Strong leadership skills with experience managing HR teams
Expertise in industrial relations and enterprise bargaining
Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
A passion for people and culture, with a track record of driving positive workplace change
