We are looking for a motivated Junior Payroll Consultant to join our dynamic and rapidly growing Payroll team within Business Advisory in Sydney.

You will be responsible for providing outsourced payroll services to our diverse & large portfolio of clients, ensuring that our clients comply with regulatory and tax requirements in relation to payroll.

This role will include managing your own client base under the guidance and support of experienced senior payroll consultants. You will also be involved in managing stakeholders, both internal and external, with regards to a range of payroll issues in a fast-paced, and dynamic outsourced environment.

**Key responsibilities**
- Delivering accurate, tailored and timely payroll services to our diverse portfolio of clients, whilst providing direction and advice on payroll related issues
- Fulfilling reporting requirements and utilising your ever developing payroll expertise to provide the best solutions to resolve our clients’ payroll related issues
- Responding to queries from clients in a professional manner, ensuring a positive client relationship
- Assisting other team members with various payroll related matters such as terminations, payroll tax and implementations

**What you need to be successful**
- A willingness to improve your understanding of the Australian payroll landscape under the guidance of an experienced and supportive team
- Be a driven self-starter who understands the importance of responsiveness and going above and beyond in a customer facing role
- A methodical approach with high level of accuracy
- Attention to detail, responsible, time management and inquisitive
- Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products in particular Excel
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to build rapport within your team and with clients
