**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a motivated and well-organized Payroll Consultant to join our friendly Business Advisory team in Sydney. You will become part of a close working team of professionals who have gained experience from across the Big4 accounting firms, large commercial organizations, and outsourcing environments over many years.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing payroll services to our clients. We service a range of clients across:

- Industry (NFP, airline, mining, agricultural & professional services)
- Size (1 to 1,000 employees)
- Local & International

**Your key responsibilities**
- Work closely with the senior payroll team to process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for both local and international clients within agreed timeframes
- Manage regulatory compliance obligations such as Payroll Tax, STP reporting, Superannuation and Salary Packaging
- Manage client relationships with the support from our senior payroll team
- Attend meetings with clients, and build strong internal and external relationships with various stakeholders
- Assist with projects including new client implementations
- Continuously develop a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation so our clients remain compliant

**What you need to be successful**
- Outgoing personality, willingness to work hard and have fun along the way
- Want and desire to continuously develop yourself
- Be highly customer-focused, you will want to own the client relationship
- Can work autonomously and part of the wider team
- You can work in a fast paced, dynamic, and deadline driven environment
- Have strong time management skills, but with a strong focus on accuracy
- Are happy to adopt and work in a hybrid working model
- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) as you will have direct exposure to clients
- Experience using payroll systems is preferable, but not necessary
- Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products in particular Excel
