**Position description**
An open opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Junior Payroll Officer to join a dynamic team on the North Shore. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the purpose of the role is to support the payroll team by process and pay facilities and corporate staff, support and ensure adherence to all relevant awards, agreements and status related to payment of employees. This role is well suited for someone looking to kick start their payroll career.

**The responsibilities**
- Process fortnightly time sheets, including overtime for casuals etc.
- Process staff movements including new starters, departures and other movements
- Process bonuses and salary sacrifice requests, and checking to ensure payments have been made accurately
- Preparing manual payments when required
- Assisting Finance team on queries and reports

**The successful applicant**:

- Previous experience using Chris 21 is an advantage
- Thoroughly understands the end to end payroll process
- Experience with a wide range of EBAs and Awards
- Intermediate excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot tables)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to promote Payroll best practice
- Enthusiastic and has a passion for learning
- Eager to work for a large company and grow their career
