The Dolphin Hotel in Surry Hills seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reservations Coordinator join our team on a casual or contract basis.

Reporting to the Events & Reservations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the planning, implementation, and project management of client events and reservations. This is a casual position however longer-term employment may be available within our expanding group.

**About You**
You will have a talent for customer service with an engaging phone manner and a problem-solving mindset. As you will often be the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in our total “guest experience”.

**Position Overview**:

- Proactively following through with all leads to ensure that conversion occur in timely manner.
- Occasionally conduct site inspections with potential clients, being able to clearly articulate spaces, offerings and any other venue essential information.
- Being the hotel’s point of contact for events and reservations.
- Timely prepare all runsheets with clear and detailed information.
- Processing of payments for function deposits, event pre-payments.
- Ensuring venue events calendar is maintained, with all relevant events clearly outlined.
- Organising and overseeing all casual venue bookings, ensuring that all managers are aware of requirements for functions or large bookings.
- Working closely with all department heads to communicate and deliver on guest experience.
- Drive creative ideas and solutions for guests and clients.
- As part of the event and reservations team, part of this role involves answering day to day calls and making general restaurant and bar bookings.
