**Role Overview**:
R.M. Williams is a heritage brand synonymous with quality craftsmanship and a commitment to storytelling. We’re embarking on an exciting transformation, and we’re seeking an experienced Head of Brand Marketing & Communications to shape and elevate our brand experience, enhance customer engagement, and execute innovative go-to-market plans aligned with our vision and values.
As the Head of Brand Marketing & Communications, you will lead a talented team of marketing professionals and collaborate with cross-functional management teams to ensure the successful planning, management, and execution of all marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and the overall marketing strategy for R.M. Williams.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Integrated Marketing Calendar & Plan**: Develop, share and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversion while achieving business objectives.
- **Omni-Channel Campaigns**: Lead the planning and execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, PR, paid digital and traditional media.
- **Digital Presence Management**: Optimize the brand's digital presence through effective planning and deployment of creative content across all digital and physical channels.
- **Communications Strategy**: Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy, including media relations and corporate communications.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with other marketing functional heads of content and activations to deliver brand experiences against the marketing calendar. Collaborate with product design, merchandise planning, Commercial, Operations, Technology, Strategy, Sustainability, Finance, and People & Culture to ensure consistent brand messaging across all consumer touchpoints.
- **Performance Analysis**: Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, leveraging data to inform decision-making and future marketing directions.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to achieve business goals.
- **Team Development**: Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performance marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- **Industry Insight**: Stay informed about industry trends, customer insights, and emerging marketing technologies to guide strategic decisions.

**Key Objectives**:
- Own and enhance the R.M. Williams Brand Marketing & Communications strategy, translating it into actionable plans across the organization.
- Measure increases in brand awareness through metrics such as brand health, recognition, recall, and market share growth.
- Assess customer satisfaction through quantitative and qualitative surveys, customer lifetime value (CLTV), and net promoter score (NPS).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, assessing key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor public relations efforts by tracking media coverage and earned media value.
- Assess the performance of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and their impact on brand perception.
- Track marketing team development, motivation, productivity, and employee retention.
- Ensure efficient allocation and management of the marketing budget to meet business objectives.
- Support the evolution of the R.M. Williams brand with pillars centered around Design with intent, Making things our way, and Being connected to land and people.
- Be a visible leader within the organization, contributing to the development of a world-class Marketing team.
