We’re on a mission to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues, including mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. We’re currently seeking a passionate** Internal Change and Communications Lead**to join our **Melbourne**based team.
**About the role**
The **Internal Change & Communications Lead** is responsible for developing and implementing innovative internal communication and change plans that effectively support the delivery of Movember’s strategic impact. This role ensures that employees are well-informed, engaged, motivated and aligned with the company’s strategic goals and change objectives through creative and compelling communications.
**You’ll have the opportunity to**
- Lead the strategic direction and execution of internal communication plans tailored to building engagement with the organisational strategy and delivering change objectives
- Partner closely with the CEO, DR's, Global Director Strategic Communications, the PeopleMos, to gather insights and radiate strategic information to appropriate audiences
- Lead strategic change planning and related communications including development of a change framework and drafting of communications
- Develop a multi-year roadmap of strategic activities to ensure alignment with strategic external communications
- Create communication strategies ensuring clarity and engagement in messaging for a global audience
- Review organisational performance & results to draw key insights to develop into messages / communications to the organisation
- Monitor, measure and report on the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and adjust approach as required
- Gather and analyse employee feedback to continuously improve communication strategies and tactics.
- Conduct thorough assessments of how proposed changes will impact various teams and departments within Movember. Develop strategies to address potential challenges and resistance to change.
- Develop a structured framework for communicating change initiatives, ensuring messages are clear, consistent, and tailored to different audiences within the organization.
- Perform stakeholder analysis to identify key influencers and impacted groups, ensuring that communication strategies are effectively aligned with their needs and expectations.
- Champion cultural change initiatives that align with Movember’s values, promoting an environment that embraces change as a positive force within the organization.
**For this role, you’ll need**
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or similar or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering “fit for purpose” internal change communications in a complex, global organisation
- Proven ability to influence and provide strategic advice and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and connect teams to purpose and outcomes
- Experience in change analysis and supporting teams through change
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and proven ability building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Skilled in using metrics and analytics to measure communication effectiveness
