APG is currently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for a 12-month contract within a Parramatta Government Sector.

**The Role**:

- $74 per hour excluding Super
- 12 Month Contract (Potential for extension)
- 40 hrs per week
- Flexible work form home options

**Primary purpose of the role**

PaTH Data Migration
- Analyse large amounts of data from Sap prior to data migration to a new Sap instance
- Perform data cleanse in consultation with business stakeholders
- Support the development of new structures for profit centres, cost centres, and wbs codes in consultation with business stakeholders
- Provide timely, expert financial and accounting information and advice to the Manager Business Advisory and develop budgets and monthly budget forecasts for assigned functional areas to meet the financial and business performance requirements of the Cluster.
- Coordinate requests for information and updates related to data migration
- Build the confidence and support of stakeholders, clients and peers to manage diverse and frequently urgent and competing business requests and demand deadlines in a complex, demanding environment of significant change
- Research and resolve enquiries and complex, new or emerging issues and provide advice, recommendations and options for resolution, including innovative ideas to improve process and internal control efficiency and performance.

**BAU**
- Prepare monthly financial management, performance and dashboard reports to enable decisions
- Ad hoc analysis, reporting, and problem solving as required

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualification and full membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia
- Expertise using SAP in a large organisation
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting principles and practices
