Fantastic Snr Financial Analyst position to work with our Government client.

Responsibilities

- Timely and accurate submissions of all PTA/carry-forward requests.

- Preparation of annual budgets in accordance with PRIME.

- Preparation of monthly management reports and PMO financial updates.

- GL/Cost centre review and reconciliation of accounts.

- Timely and accurate submission of month-end adjustment and any other necessary adjustment journals.

- Accurate planning, tracking, and reporting of budgets and forecasts.

- Business partnering with 8x Project Managers, providing real time support and financial analysis to manage budget expectations and to help drive results.

- Provide value add advice and assurance to the Program Director in relation to Program financials to assist in informed decision-making and contingency planning.

- Consulting on all financial aspects of briefing notes and project initiation documents and assisting other functions and teams within dept. and/or externally with detailed program-related financial modelling and costing, and analysis.

- Coordinate and prepare timely, accurate responses to Ministerial requests and ad-hoc requests/queries from senior stakeholders, Executive Office, Treasury, Audit Office, and other internal and external stakeholders.
