**Working Hours & Roster Pattern**

**Roster Cycle: 6-week rotating schedule**

**Possible Daily Start Times (local / AEDT)**:

- ** 5:00 am - 1:00 pm (6:00 am - 2:00 pm AEDT)**:

- ** 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (9:00 am - 5:00 pm AEDT)**:

- ** 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm AEDT)**

**On-Call & Weekend Work**:

- ** One week every six, you will be on call on Saturday**:

- ** During that same week, you will work Sunday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm (11:00 am - 7:00 pm AEDT)**:

- ** Friday of that week will be your rostered day off**

**Make an impact at Serco**

As an Operations Coordinator in our Defence team, you’ll support the Regional Leadership in managing workforce performance across sites in Southern Queensland, including Amberley, Oakey, and Cabarlah bases. In this role, you’ll provide critical administrative and coordination support to optimise workforce management, ensuring operational effectiveness across the region.
- This role requires the applicant to be an Australian Citizen due to security clearance requirements.
- As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll make a positive impact by:

- Assisting with workforce management, leave approvals, and compliance.
- Supporting payroll processes to ensure accurate rostered hours and resolving queries.
- Optimising rosters and filling vacancies in collaboration with workforce teams.
- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Managing workforce data and providing reports to Operations and Regional Managers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong organisational, time management, and data management skills.
- Experience in handling complex administrative functions and 24/7 rostering in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines with high-quality output.
- Proficiency in MS Office and technologies like Power BI.
- Experience in a clinical or defence environment (highly regarded but certainly not required).
