Create your best future and join Westpac as a Technical Lead **What’s the role?** **Key Responsibilities include**: - **Engineering**:Lead and manage solution design for large or complex systems; ensure adherence to design standards and effective integration of technologies. - **Collaboration**:Work closely with architects, infrastructure, operations, analysts, business units, and project teams to align on technology requirements. - **Technical Leadership**:Provide guidance and oversight to ensure delivery of reliable and operationally sound solutions that meet business objectives. **What do I need?** To be successful in this position you should have strong, hands-on experience in OBP and be a strong leader. Additionally, you will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and be proficient at partnering with all levels of the business. It would be great for you to have experience in banking domains ideally Loan Originations, Lending (Secured/Unsecured), Digital Origination, Integration using REST APIs. If you have any experience in Core banking implementations this will be a great advantage. **Other skills and experiences include**: - JAVA, J2EE, Oracle BPM, OBP Host, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), REST API, MicroServices, Kafka - Oracle ADF, Oracle SOA - Oracle Weblogic Server, Apache Tomcat - Web services, WSDL, SOAP, XSD, XML, JSON/YAML - Oracle 12c or any SQL databases - Jira & Confluence - Version control using BitBucketIssue root cause analysis using tools like Splunk, SQL Developer & AppDynamics **Why join us?** We’re obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
