**Technical Lead - Immediately required is an experienced Lead Developer to join this Leading Insurance FinTech business.**
Technical Lead - In this environment, there’s a combination of proof-of-concept development, back-end integration and solution delivery. You will technically lead a number of key initiatives tasked with building and innovating across a broad range of key platforms
Tech Lead - You will be responsible for ensuring development best practices are followed, quality outputs are delivered, building world class web and mobile solutions, mentoring developers, running the agile process and working with the leadership team and other key business stakeholders around the product development.
This role is 50% hands on and 50% leadership and working with the wider team developing Detailed Design (DD) documents off the back of architectural High Level Designs (HLD) as well as reviewing HLDs, other people’s DDs.
**Key Skills & Experience**:
- Full stack development expertise - experience in Javascript (Node / React) and Kotlin ideally or Java
- 2+ years within a technical leadership role
- Experience in developing detailed design documents and technical specs for complex builds
- Any DevOps & cloud services experience is well regarded - AWS, automation, containerization etc.
- A strong understanding of financial services products is an advantage
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills are important
- A proven technical Leader
- Comfortable being accountable for code quality, deployment and delivery
- Experience working within an agile environment.
