What you’ll contribute to

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Social Media Specialist to join our National Marketing division in a full-time permanent capacity.

The National Marketing Division is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all national marketing, brand, internal & external communications, digital, public relations and guest relationship management in order to position Toyota as the guests’ brand of choice throughout and beyond the entire product lifecycle and contribute to achievement of sales volume, market share and profitability objectives.

The Social Media Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation and overall alignment of National Marketing social media initiatives in order to ensure the brand is represented consistently and appropriately across TMCA’s social media platforms and thus grow brand and product desirability.

This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.

How you’ll make an impact- Implement agreed social media content processes and procedures consistent with set policies to achieve Toyota sales and guest attraction objectives.- Assist in the development of processes and procedures for the coordination of Toyota’s social media content to support marketing campaigns and drive product desirability and brand awareness.- Coordinate community management for all social media platforms to ensure Toyota is optimally represented. Resolves any queries and issues and escalates matters to minimise risk.- Support the maintenance of all online collateral for allocated products and projects in relation to social media marketing content through quality checks to ensure a clear and consistent message to guests.- Support the coordination of forums to ensure that all social media content related plans, progress and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders to ensure cross-divisional collaboration.- Monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommend countermeasures where required. Monitor own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.

Your attributes - If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you- Degree qualification in business, commerce, marketing, a related discipline, or equivalent experience- Experience in social and digital marketing roles managing online content.- Understanding of automotive products and Australian automotive market desirable.
