An exciting opportunity has been created for a Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team at Seed Heritage.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this role contributes to Seed Heritage brand communication with a focus on Social Media and will work closely with the PR Specialist.

**THE ROLE**:

- Lead and manage global, multi-platform social media channels, multi-platform accounts.
- Manage and lead social media channels for the Asia market, including social media scheduling, copy and asset requirements.
- Curate and lead global social shopping experience and manage social commerce initiatives.
- Monitor social channels daily and report on performance metrics.
- Support social media budget management.
- Develop and manage social media campaign, including owning the development of all social briefs in order to curate high-quality, engaging content that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement.
- Manage and lead social community management, including overseeing the management of online communities, managing crisis responses, and fostering a strong sense of community.
- Support store opening activities with social media strategy.
- Support partnerships with social execution.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
- 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their features, including understanding of algorithms, analytics, and best practices for content creation, engagement, and growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using social media analytics tools to track and analyse performance metrics, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and generate reports.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Open to working 5 days on-site in our St Kilda office
