**About the team**:
The scope of this role sits within Coles Group Limited, supporting all brands across the Coles Group Portfolio (i.e. Supermarkets, Express, Liquor, Coles Services, Distribution Centres, RROA and Chef Fresh). The Coles Group consists of 130,000 team members spanning across Australia. Reporting directly into the Head of Payroll, Governance and Compliance, the Payroll Systems Manager is to act as a point of contact to ensure the payroll systems are configured / upgraded appropriately to enable pay which is accurate and complies with employment legislation and EAs.

**About the role
- 24 months Fixed term**:

- Define and execute the overall payroll system strategy and roadmap
- Act as the point of contact to work with IT to identify how business requirements can be met through systems solutions (e.g. monthly releases, configuration)
- Liaise with Payroll CoE Leadership to understand payroll system business requirements (e.g. system functionality, configuration)
- Define the upgrade and continuous improvement agenda for payroll systems, outlining key version upgrades and informing Success Factors release updates
- Own the relationship with IT to investigate technical problems encountered across payroll systems and find solutions to support system configuration requirements
- Oversee user acceptance testing across payroll systems to ensure that systems are configured appropriately
- Liaise with and co-operate with key external auditors to provide information and detail as required around Coles’ payroll and T&A system landscape (including associated

**About you and your skills**:

- Experience and strong knowledge within user acceptance testing environments and system performance analysis
- Background in building system improvement business cases to support continuous improvement opportunities across a system landscape
- Demonstrated ability to lead system administration and configuration requirements across large businesses
- Experience in managing complex system changes (e.g. upgrades) across an organisation and executing a change roadmap to address compliance items as they arise
