Our Payroll Governance & Compliance team in People & Culture are trusted advisors to the business across a broad range of legislative requirements. With a deep understanding of our goals and values, we provide service excellence whilst ensuring Coles Group team members are paid accurately on time, every time.

**About the Role**:
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the dynamic world of retail? Look no further - we're seeking a passionate individual to join our team as the Payroll Analytics & Performance Lead.

In this exciting role, you'll drive continuous improvement across the payroll landscape and play a pivotal part across a diverse range of initiatives aimed at enhancing pay accuracy to create a seamless experience for our team members.

**Day-to-day you’ll**:

- Drive continuous improvement across the payroll landscape with a focus on improving data analytics, optimisation, automation, and visualisation.
- Help roll out the next two phases of a project aimed to significantly improve internal payroll compliance testing capability.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand pain points in the end-to-end payroll process.
- Stay abreast and gain in depth understanding of core elements across the payroll and T&A landscape.

**About you**:
With 4+ years’ experience in a payroll operations or compliance environment, you come from a large-scale corporate environment and will be adept at handling complex data in a fast-paced setting.

**You’ll also have**:

- Proficiency in payroll systems such as SQL, Snowflake, SAP Payroll, Employee Master Data and Kronos with experience in driving dashboard visualisation e.g. PowerBI.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate and present data.
- Proven experience in delivering performance optimisation initiatives whilst being detail-oriented with an analytical mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting complex industrial instruments including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements (EAs).
- Exceptional knowledge of data analytics process, from data understanding, cleansing, transformation, interpretation and presentation.
