About The Role
- Hybrid opportunity with the flexibility to work from home
- Ongoing, full time position conveniently located in Burwood East
- Salary range: $145,000 - $155,000 plus 10.5% super
An exciting ongoing opportunity presents to join ESTA's Shared Services Management Team in the role of Manager, Payroll. The key focus of this role is to lead a team of payroll professionals to deliver ESTA's end-to-end payroll function. Reporting to the Director, Finance and Deputy CFO, the Manager Payroll will lead the payroll team through a significant period of change and transformation as we streamline and automate our payroll system and processes.
**Day to day responsibilities include**:
- Build a high performing payroll team through lifting capability, morale and performance.
- Govern the end-to-end payroll process ensuring employees are paid accurately and is compliant with various legislations.
- Provide advice to ELT, managers, and projects in relation to complex payroll matters, benefits, and compensation.
- Continuously improve the payroll processing, administration functions and the effective utilisation of the payroll system.
- Induct and train new payroll team members with the payroll processes and provide ongoing support and training.
About You
To be considered for the opportunity, you will have the following:
- Extensive experience with ADP Payforce and a rostered workforce is essential.
- Prior experience managing a team and the end-to-end payroll function.
- Proven experience leading, developing, and uplifting capability in a payroll team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll fundamentals gained in a leadership role within a large, complex work environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and reporting skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
