Are you passionate about payroll compliance and ensuring adherence to employment legislation? Coles Group Limited is looking for a dedicated Payroll Compliance Analyst to join our team and support all brands across our diverse portfolio, including Express, Liquor, Coles Services, Distribution Centres, RROA, Chef Fresh, and Supermarkets.

**About the Role**:
As a Payroll Compliance Analyst, you will report to the Payroll Compliance and Reporting Lead within the Reward and Governance Centre of Excellence (CoE). Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and report on payroll compliance for allocated brands, ensuring that all payroll processes align with relevant employment legislation and Enterprise Agreement (EA) terms and conditions. You will play a crucial role in identifying risks of non-compliance, providing tactical fixes, and informing longer-term strategic solutions.

**What you will be doing**:

- Conduct compliance checks across the payroll landscape to identify any risks of non-compliance.
- Provide detailed reports on compliance status and suggest tactical fixes.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement longer-term strategic solutions.
- Ensure adherence to payroll tax, workcover legislation, superannuation, and PAYG requirements.
- Interpret complex industrial instruments, including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements (EAs).

**Ideally you will have**:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a payroll operations and compliance environment.
- Demonstrated experience with payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A) systems and end-to-end payroll processes.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax, workcover legislation, superannuation, and PAYG.
- Proven experience in interpreting complex industrial instruments, including Modern Awards and EAs.
- Ability to identify and consolidate payroll compliance risks and issues across an organisation.
