**Location**: Melbourne, Australia

**Company**: My client is a leading distributor of raw materials into the plastics/polymer sector, and they're looking for a talented Sales Manager to join their team. Their company is committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service to their clients.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing my client's sales team and driving sales growth in the Melbourne market. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Managing and mentoring a team of salespeople to achieve sales targets
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients and suppliers
- Staying up-to-date with market trends and competitive landscape
- Providing input on pricing and product positioning

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience in the procurement and sales of plastic polymers
- Ideally coming with Supervision experience managing a team of salespeople
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and proactive attitude
- A valid driver's license
