**Job Description**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will guide, create and coordinate a profitable and sustainable Groups, Schools, Conferences & Weddings market. Success in this role would ensure optimal guest satisfaction and profitability, whilst maximising the return and referral business opportunities driven from the Groups and Conferences sector.

Other key focus areas of this position will be to:

- Represent NRMA in an enthusiastic and positive manner.
- Deliver and exceptional guest experience.
- Display commitment to NRMA values and procedures.

**Qualifications**:
Ideally, you will have previous experience in an events role and you are now ready to move into a role to progress your career.

Additional Information
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Develop a significant level of new Groups and Conferences business.
- Set up and managing of conference, events and weddings.
- Responding to our Clients within 1 business day of their enquiry.
- Develop a close working relationship with the Murramarang Food and Beverage team and display a hands-on approach to facilitating events to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a close relationship with the local community and assist in promoting events at Murramarang Resort to local communities.
- Actively seek feedback in a timely manner from any recent Groups and Conferences business.
- Respond to negative feedback in a timely & professional manner, personally resolving guest complaints which arise during their stay.
- Providing department heads with regular guidance and direction on a strategic level for current and future Groups and Conferences business.
- Distribution of Event orders to other departments with accurate event information
- Assist client with property knowledge, provide site introductions, event expectations throughout their journey with the resort.
- Become fluent in Murramarang Resort PMS, Point of Sale, telephone equipment to provide support to colleagues within the workplace.
