The Camden Hotel has been a part of Caulfield South's story since 1873, offering a stylish restaurant, sports bar, gaming room, and dynamic function spaces. We're a local favourite with a loyal following and now we're looking for a creative and organised Events & Marketing Coordinator to help take our functions and promotions to the next level.

This is a hands-on role where you'll plan and execute a wide range of events, develop engaging marketing content, and play a key role in connecting our brand with the community.

What you'll be doing
  • Coordinating all venue events and functions from enquiry to execution
  • Managing bookings, client walkthroughs, confirmations, and run sheets
  • Working across departments to ensure smooth event delivery and staffing
  • Creating marketing materials (posters, flyers, menus, digital content)
  • Running the venue's social media accounts and online presence
  • Responding to reviews and customer enquiries
  • Supporting website updates and internal promotions
  • Working to budget and tracking campaign/event success
About You
  • At least 2 years' experience in events, marketing, or hospitality coordination
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-organised with solid time management and planning skills
  • Confident with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
  • Some experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) is a plus
  • Friendly, professional, and a team player
  • Hospitality experience or knowledge of venue operations is a bonus
