**About the Role**
As the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering profitability and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction across multiple departments. You’ll lead a team of Sales professionals, create and implement strategic sales initiatives, and build a high-performing culture aligned with Autoleague’s values and business objectives.

**About Us**
Carco is part of Autoleague, one of Australia’s largest automotive retail groups, with over 25 dealerships across Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia. Representing some of the strongest brands in the industry, including Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen, and MG, Autoleague is at the forefront of automotive sales and aftercare services.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership to the Sales team, finance, after care and delivery team.
- Drive sales performance and implement marketing and sales strategies.
- Create accurate forecasts, budgets and sales reports.
- Lead coaching and development of sales staff.
- Oversee merchandising and promotional activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and OEM partners.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with all OH&S and company policies.
**What You’ll Bring Essential**:
- Proven leadership experience in automotive sales - ideally as a Sales Manager.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, performance metrics, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strategic thinking and strong financial acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership software systems.
- A valid driver’s licence
**Desirable**:
- Experience in high-volume sales including New, Used, and/or Fleet.
- Background in compiling reports and making data-driven decisions.
- Qualifications in Business Management or a related field.
