The Event Coordinator role is an integral part of the Growth marketing team responsible for the planning and delivery of corporate events and sponsorship agreements with industry partners across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders, primarily in Sydney to deliver a pipeline of events that aligns with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Planning, coordinating and executing all aspects of marketing events and sponsorship agreements which include, but are not limited to industry events, conferences, trade shows, seminars and awards evenings.
- Responsible for all operational aspects of each event, including planning, execution, supplier management, and schedules
- Maintain the event calendar and ensure quality control and corporate approvals as needed around program execution.
- Understand event expenditures and manage within departmental budget.
- Help manage all event logistics to ensure high quality and attendee/customer satisfaction.
- Support and manage post tradeshow follow up, partnering with marketing team for lead retrieval and process.
- Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and agencies as necessary on logistics, deliverables, production to ensure correct and high-quality event delivery.
- Be constantly aware of customer event experience by creating a high energy environment with creative experiences.
- Support team members with day-to-day event tasks and projects as requested.

Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience working in an events role.
- Diploma or Degree in Event Management or demonstrated experience relevant to the responsibilities of the position will be highly desirable
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project and vendor management skills; must be comfortable to contact and negotiate with vendors and partners.
- Strong organisational skills including ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Ability to coordinate events with multiple deadlines and budgets with a focus on detail.
- Experience in CRM systems including customer management, event management and invoicing would be highly desirable.
- Reliable and trustworthy to work independently and part of a team.
