**Your new company**

A mining technology firm in Perth is looking for an Assistant Accountant/Administrator to join their finance team. This is an exciting venture that has reimagined exploration technology and are rapidly growing.

**Your new role**

Reporting directly to the CFO; as an Assistant Accountant/Administrator, you will be involved in various aspects of the firm’s financial operations, such as:

- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Performing monthly reconciliations and variance analysis
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Supporting the CFO with ad hoc tasks
- Broad office administration to support the business

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Some relevant experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of mining industry and technology trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
