We are seeking a Finance Officer,to join our Perth, WA office.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Perth, WA office. Reporting through to the Accountant, this role is responsible for assisting the finance team with day-to-day operations and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process and apply payments daily, maintaining transaction accuracy.
- Manage client reporting, and generation of ad hoc reports, as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure financial systems are accurate, efficient, and up to date.
- Support the continuous process improvements and efficiency of the Finance team.
What We Are Looking For
- Cert IV or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a finance related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an AR / AP role, or a similar finance-related position.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in using financial software, and Microsoft Office Suite applications, with a strong focus on Excel.
- High level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
