We are seeking a Finance Officer,to join our Perth, WA office.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Perth, WA office. Reporting through to the Accountant, this role is responsible for assisting the finance team with day-to-day operations and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and apply payments daily, maintaining transaction accuracy.
  • Manage client reporting, and generation of ad hoc reports, as required.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure financial systems are accurate, efficient, and up to date.
  • Support the continuous process improvements and efficiency of the Finance team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Cert IV or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a finance related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an AR / AP role, or a similar finance-related position.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in using financial software, and Microsoft Office Suite applications, with a strong focus on Excel.
  • High level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
