Exciting WA State Government opportunity for a Property Finance Officer.

**Your new company**

We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for a Property Finance Officer. You must have experience in the end-to-end property management finance function and experience in implementation of a new system is highly advantageous.

The office is based in Fremantle and is located close to public transport. This is a temporary contract of 6 months with extension possibilities.

Ideally you will be immediately available and ready to begin your next career chapter in the State Government.

**Your new role**

As a Property Finance Officer your daily duties will include, but won’t be limited to:

- Implementation of the end-to-end property management finance function
- Monthly issuing of all invoices for approximately 160 commercial, residential and concession holders
- Receipting of amounts from tenants
- Work with property managers in contracts and planning division
- Issue monthly statements to tenants and management of arrears
- Assist with audits, including financial year-end audit as required

**What you'll need to succeed**

Experience in property management finance function is essential, as is:

- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a range of financial accounting functions
- Experience in commercial and or residential property leasing
- Well-developed computer skills including financial management information systems
- Highly developed excel skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
