Coordinator, Selection Engagement and Document

As the coordinator of the Selection, Engagement and Document Delivery you will lead a team of 2 librarians and 3 library technicians responsible for selection, document delivery and interlibrary loan services, and engagement activities to promote physical collections and e-resources to the Queensland public library network.
This role incorporates the management of budget spending targets and liaising with vendors to ensure that expenditure targets are met and that profiles are followed.
You will review, evaluate and manage collection profiles for State Library's Information Collection, the Rural Libraries Queensland and Indigenous Knowledge Centres Collection and Statewide collections. You will also review and make decisions on purchase recommendations submitted by library staff and the public.
You will engage with the public library network to promote and evaluate physical collections and e-resources and ensure that collections are meeting client needs.
You will evaluate and manage the State Library's information collection including selection and deselection activities.
Your team will provide interlibrary loan and documents delivery services to both individuals and libraries accessing not only State Library's collections but those of national and international collections.
