The Commercial division is Allianz Australia’s largest distribution channel whose customers include local, national and international brokers, and buying groups throughout Australia. We’re seeking a** Key Account Manager **to report to the State Distribution Manager, NSW/ACT and help develop best in market relationships with an allocated panel of brokers.
**It will be your responsibility to**:
- Develop collaborative relationships across the Strategic Partner Broker Panel delivering sales and service excellence, including collaborating with Underwriting teams on delivery and negotiation.
- Perform customer effective pipeline management to maximise new business strike rates and renewal retention to drive growth in preferred segments
- Support implementation on sales/ go-to-market strategy and business plans to deliver effective and essential sales operations and achieve profitable growth
- Gain an in-depth broker insight and find alignment to grow Allianz areas of appetite.
- Identify market and industry trends anticipating customer needs and act as a point of escalation for broker requests on commercial adjustments, issues or complaints.
**Important to your success**:
- Demonstrated experience in the commercial lines of business within General Insurance is required; applicants from an underwriting, account management or broking background would be highly desired.
- Strategic sales ability including business planning, negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to optimise business value to customers by delivering high quality services and positive customer experiences to sustain and enhance the customer base.
- Ability to identify potential issues, evaluate information, exercise judgement and create customer-focused solutions.
- Able to plan and prioritise, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Able to communicate and present with impact and influence.
