ChoiceOne is currently seeking a Contracts Specialist to provide commercial assistance for our highly regarded Mining Client in their Perth Office.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity and is critical to the ongoing success of the Client’s business operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare tender packages and contractual documents;
- Provide commercial input for the development of sourcing strategies;
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers;
- Manage the tender process, facilitate the evaluation of tender proposals and conduct all commercial negotiations;
- Prepare / present contract award recommendations and compile formal contract documentation;
- Award and administer contracts in compliance with policies and procedures;
- Manage contractor and internal stakeholder relationships and monitor contract performance; and
- Ensure all documentation is received from vendors and contractors at all stages throughout their contracts.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications in a related field with 5 years’ experience in contracts, preferably in the resources industry;
- Confident communicator with the ability to analyse and explain complex issues;
- Well-developed negotiation skills;
- Solid understanding of contract law; and
- Pronto or similar ERP systems highly desirable.
