**About the Role**
**Fixed Term - Full time**

The Project Coordinator will develop communications and reports that support the Program Delivery team within Transport Operations. This role will work to deliver briefing papers, project docments and government reports related to specific project requirements across a small but diverse portfolio of works. Flexibility across content and delivery timeframes will be required to flex to the key priority areas as needed, and the ability to translate techincal information to suit a wide auidence will be essential.

**Position Outcomes**
- Delivery of timely and effective communications for the Director, and collates and provides accurate advice and input in accordance with departmental and divisional strategies, plans and requirements, on behalf of the Executive Director and directors.
- Ensure risks have been identified and informed the development of appropriate mitigation strategies
- Build strong relationships to ensure internal and external stakeholders were provided with expert advice on the complexity and importance of the initiatives, which resulted in shared commitment to the timely delivery of the projects
- Successfully manage projects and events for the divisions as required in accordance with pre-determined outcomes.
- Initiate and maintains strong relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to support value creation and ensure high quality delivery of work programs
- Promote and supported safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:
**Desirable**

Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in fields related to communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or similar
- Experience working in technical environment
