Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage the full-cycle project schedule across design, procurement, construction, and validation stages within the pharmaceutical engineering sector. The primary goal is to ensure that project delivery is achieved on time while meeting all quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Schedule Development

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project (Level 1–4).
  • Coordinate inputs from the design, procurement, construction, and validation teams.
  • Sequence activities based on pharmaceutical project schedule logic and process flows.

2.Progress Tracking & Control

  • Conduct weekly updates of site progress, monitoring critical paths and buffer times.
  • Identify potential delays and develop strategies for recovery planning.
  • Manage milestone schedules tied to equipment installation and validation.

3.Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports and 3-week lookahead schedules.
  • Provide timely scheduling input during project and client meetings.
  • Support the preparation of Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and claims.

4.Risk Control & Coordination

  • Participate in project risk reviews, ensuring that schedule-related risks are incorporated into the risk register.
  • Collaborate with construction, safety, and logistics teams to optimize sequencing.

5. Validation Interface (if applicable)

  • Work with the validation team to ensure milestones are met for IQ/OQ readiness.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background
    : Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
  2. Experience
    : Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling; at least 3 years in pharmaceutical projects is preferred.
  3. Technical Skills

  4. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  5. Familiarity with GMP workflows and cleanroom construction sequencing.
  6. Knowledge of Singapore construction regulations (BCA, MOM, SCDF) and site safety requirements.

4.
Communication Skills
: Fluent in Mandarin (both spoken and written), with ability to conduct meetings, prepare reports, and liaise effectively in Mandarin to speak with mandarin speaking associates.
