Now, you can write yourself into this incredible growth story as a Learning Development Manager, a role that is newly created and focused on identifying, developing and implementing sustainable learning programs and initiatives that build the current and future capability of the team.

**Rundown of Responsibilities**:

- Your purpose will be to partner and support the stores to continually sharpen and strengthen their performance by creating learning pathways for career development.
- This will see you engaging with external learning providers (TAFE and RTO) to develop a recruitment strategy to promote a career path for school leavers and others
- You will identify methods for learning programs and create a plan for learning resources along with developing a calendar including detailed dates, training facility and facilitation
- And create eLearning and Micro Learning resources (including “how-too” training videos)
- Development of existing team members to ensure pipeline of talent to support future growth
- This will involve coaching and collaborating with store leaders across execution and compliance; ensuring that the “how” is in line with the vision and values of the company

**What it Takes**:

- **Senior experience in a Learning & Development role** and related qualifications in Training and Assessment coupled with Tertiary qualifications in Business or perhaps a Mechanical degree.
- Retail multi-site operations experience and an ability to facilitate classroom and one-on-one learning and mentoring sessions
- Demonstrated understanding of Retail success drivers such as sales, customer service, inventory management, VM, brand standards, marketing and promotional execution
- A proven leader who can inspire, coach and lead others to career success
- A personal interest or significant experience **within Hardgoods** **or Automotive**:

- Enjoy the autonomy to manage your workload and time accordingly with your sound time management skills
- Regular interstate travel may be required
