Malaga, Australia Protolab Manufacturing Full time

Protolab Manufacturing is one of Perth's leading contract PCB manufacturers and is experiencing rapid growth. We currently have a role for a Purchasing Officer with a background in electronics to join our friendly and vibrant team. This is a full-time position however a part time position may be considered for the right applicant.

This is a challenging and diverse role where you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of areas within the company.

**The Role will include but is not limited to**:

- Quoting BOM's from multiple suppliers.
- Create Purchase Orders.
- Tracking backorders to ensure they remain on track.
- Processing Inwards Goods, updating the stock management system and entering the goods into the store.
- Preparing quotes for jobs using an internal quote calculator. Training will be provided.
- Kitting jobs ready to go to production.
- Answering the phone and greeting clients at reception.
- Will have familiarity with electronic components. At a minimum you should know what a resistor, capacitor and transistor are however you may, or may not, know how they work.
- Perform parametric searches to identify suitable substitutes.
- May have a Cert IV in electronics, or have worked in the electronics industry, or maybe you are an electronic technician looking for a change in career.
- Must have good computer skills and be proficient with MS Excel.
- Will be familiar with a BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Will be a confident individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
